Even before we had breakfast (at 7 am), we went on a hike to Rock Canyon with our good friends Erin and John. It was beautiful weather. Erin has been one of my best friends since freshman year, and we'll really miss them when we go!

Pancakes and Rock Canyon

We invited Whitney and Jon over for Memorial Day breakfast. We've really enjoyed going on double dates with them lately. To be festive, we made red, white, and blue pancakes. We put blueberries in the pancakes and strawberries on top. Jon was quite the pancake flipper. And of course with pancakes, David and I made our homemade buttermilk syrup.
