Today I got my first blogging award: the Liebster award from Melissa at Just a Southern Girl Living the City Dream.  What a sweetie.

11 Random Facts:

1. When I was 4 I begged my mom to rename me Tinkerbelle.  Good thing she didn't oblige me.
2. I'm secretly (or not so secretly) obsessed with Taylor Swift.
3. Sophomore year of college, I ate a cupcake every single day.  Now, I go out for cupcakes at least once a week.
4. I am super girly.  My husband is the opposite.  We have to compromise every time we watch a movie.
5. I live in France for a summer.
6. At my old job, I dated four guys I worked with.  One of them turned out to be my husband, phew!
7. I'm Mormon, and I love it.
8. I'm having a baby girl in December.  I am so excited to have a little best friend to hang out with all the time.
9. My ancestors knew my husband's ancestors.  They even wrote about each other in their journals.
10. I try to eat a plant-based diet, with at least 5-7 fruits and vegetables a day.
11. My husband just started med school, and I get to be the supportive wife for the next ump-teen years.

Questions:

1. Have you ever done any type of charity work? If so, what?

When I lived in France, I worked for a volunteer organization. It was my responsibility to visit sick, elderly people and keep them company for 40 hours a week.  Such a blessing.

2. What necessity must you have with you at all times?

Food.  Being pregnant makes it worse, but if I don't have food with me, I fall apart.
3. Do you have siblings? If so, how many brothers and how many sisters?

Two sisters and a brother.
4. What's your dream job?

My dream job (besides being a stay at home mom) would be to work at a pre-school.  I'm happiest when I'm with sweet little children.
5. What's your favorite flower?

Hydrangea, my wedding flower.
6. Do you have a favorite Bible verse or quote? Please share.

Joshua 1:9: "Have I not commanded thee?  Be strong and of good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest." 
7. If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?

Germany.  Most beautiful place I've ever been.
8. How many children do you want?

Maybe 5?  Who knows.
9. What's the biggest lesson you've learned in life?

To not judge others.  You never know what they're going though.
10. What's a good, old fashioned lesson that your grandparents tried to instill in you?

To always be inviting and welcoming to guests in your home, no matter how unprepared or exhausted you feel.
11. Whats your favorite meal?

Pasta shells stuffed with ricotta.  Can't go wrong.
