Info Post
I have LOVED David's first month of med school.  We survived his first test (which David did really well on :), and I have LOVED helping David study at night.  I quiz him and make him teach me what he learned.  We have a lot of fun together doing that.  Last week, David even had time to help me make Mediterranean pizza (feta cheese, red onion, fresh basil, roma tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, and pizza sauce).

Here are three things that really help us stay happy when life is busy:

1). Plan time together every day (even if it's only a few minutes).  This helps me because my love language is time.  I feel loved when David plans time for me, even if it's at slightly awkward times.  Like early morning breakfast, when I'm exhausted and go right back to bed afterwards.
2). Pray together every night.  I love this, and it's something that really helps us de-stress at night.
3). Plan at least one date every week.  This week, our date included going to the mall to find me a new pair of jeans.  It didn't take much effort, but we enjoyed being together.

We are so blessed with this opportunity for David to be in med school, and I'm so grateful to be his med school wife.
