Info Post
This is our third Halloween together.  We didn't go trick-or-treating, but we still had a very festive night.  While David was busy studying at school, I was preparing our Halloween dinner.  I bought decorations at the Dollar Store including orange lights, pumpkin doilies (which I made into a hanging banner), fake leaves, a cauldron, and a hanging bat decoration.  Then it was on to dinner: homemade chili, moist cornbread (I added honey, maple syrup, and half & half to the regular package mix), caramel apples, and hot apple cider (again).  And candy of course.  I hated keeping our little Halloween dinner a secret from David, but he liked the surprise.  I just have a hard time not telling him everything, but this time I managed to hold it in for a couple of days.

We dipped apples in caramel and then sprinkled crushed Reece's on them

In a crockpot for 5 hours: 2 cans of stewed tomatoes, 3 cans of pinto beans, 1 lb. browned beef, 1 chopped onion, and 1 1/2 T. of chili powder.  Afterwards, put cheese and sour cream on top.

Then, we took naps and went shoe shopping at Target because this 35-week pregnant woman does not fit any of her shoes.  But I can't complain; I got a cute new pair of shoes.  Afterwards, we sat in the car and talked because that's something we haven't really done since we were dating or engaged.  It brought back a lot of fun memories from dating where we sat in the car because we had so many roommates.  Afterall, our first kiss was in the car, and David first told me that he loved me one cold January night when we were talking in the car.  After that, we danced in the kitchen to strange Halloween music.  And it couldn't have been a better night :)
