Cruise to Mexico

We've known for awhile that med school is going to be a long haul.  Med school means making no money for four years on top of paying for school, which is ultra expensive.  And oh ya, we're having a baby.  We all know that won't be cheap.  And so, we concluded that this summer is our best opportunity to relax and travel before real life hits.  Which is why we went on a cruise to Mexico.


Our cruise left from New Orleans and went to Progreso and Cozumel, Mexico.  It was so relaxing, and we had an amazing time. 

One of David's favorite things to do on our cruise was sit on the back deck and look out into the ocean.  My favorite?  Eating lots of yummy food.

Little known secret about my husband: he's really good at ballroom dancing.  And yes, he was in the finals (top 2) in the ballroom competition on our cruise.  I love that he's so good at ballroom dancing.
David also competed in a mini-golf tournament on the top of the ship!

One of my favorite nights on the cruise was our dress-up dinner.  We met some fun friends who sat with us at dinner each night, and we really enjoyed getting to know them.  David and I finished off the night with a much needed trip to the spa.
