Relaxing in North Carolina

In case you haven't noticed, I've been in cognito (and without internet) for the past three weeks.  July has been amazing so far, and we've had lots of adventures.  We started off our journey by staying at the cabin in North Carolina with David's grandparents.  It is so beautiful there, and our days were thoroughly relaxing.  Grammy kept us well fed, and she literally made us one pie every day we were there.

David's uncle Roy took him on a motorcycle ride on the Blue Ridge Parkway.  He loved it.

Uncle Roy and Aunt Erica took us tubing, and that was such a blast.  We had so much fun spending time with them and their girls!

The Blue Ridge Parkway was absolutely beautiful, and we all went up there to watch the sunset and have a picnic.  I would LOVE to move to North Carolina one day because it is so gorgeous.

David's other uncle took us fishing.  It was fun to spend time with him, and I enjoyed going fishing with David for the first time. 

We spent about 2 weeks in North Carolina in the cabin, and then we drove down to New Orleans to leave for our cruise.  I'll be putting up those pictures in the next couple days, so stay posted!
