Baby Bump: Gender Edition :)

Although I'm 23 weeks along, yesterday was our ultrasound.  We spent 20 minutes getting the ultrasound done, and we got to see the baby's fingers and toes, four ventricles of the heart, brain, spine, and enough to tell that we're having a GIRL.  It was such a special moment, and David and I couldn't be more excited to have a sweet little girl.  Isn't this amazing?!?!?!?!

I think David's been secretly wanting a little girl ever since we babysat our niece Bethany.  She always wanted David to hold her, and it just melted his heart.  And mine.

When we were in Mexico last month, we saw the cutest little baby girl dress, and we HAD to buy it.  We didn't know the gender of our baby, but it was too cute to pass up.  Now I'm really glad we bought it for our little girl.  Such a fun souvenir.

I'm 23 weeks along, and our little girl weighs approximately one pound three ounces.  She's on track for birth on December 6.  I've been so blessed with a good pregnancy, and it's such a blessing to carry this sweet little girl.  I love how excited David is, especially to have a girl.  She'll be wrapped around his finger the minute she comes out. What a blessed little pregnant woman I am!
