Surprises and Breakfast in Bed

David made our anniversary so special for me, and I just feel so blessed to be married to him.  The morning started off with David spoiling me with breakfast in bed: dippy eggs and vanilla yogurt with blueberries. What a cute morning surprise.

Ever since our honeymoon, I've been begging David to take me to IHOP to get the CINNASTACK pancakes.  They are unbelievable. And so for dinner, David took me to IHOP to get my long-desired pancakes.  After IHOP, David took me to Bricktown (the cute little riverwalk here), and we walked around for awhile.


It was David's idea that we make a birthday anniversary cake.  Yes, that's what he called it.  So we made a cookie cake and decorated it.  What a fun idea.

Besides going on an expensive cruise this summer and buying me a wedding band, David bought me a yoga mat.  I've seriously wanted one since I was 12.  It is adorable, and I can't wait to start doing prenatal yoga.  I got David a hot and cold stone massage therapy kit from Barnes and Nobles.  It seems kind of intense, but we'll give it a try.

I'm so grateful for a wonderful anniversary with my sweetheart. Also, later today (as long as the baby cooperates), we find out the gender of our baby, so stay tuned.
