Perks of Med School

Everyone's been telling me how hard medical school is: I'll never see my husband, and I'll spend countless hours sulking in my loneliness and poverty over the next 10 years.  I'm here to prove that 1). Med school may be tough, but exciting 2). I won't just survive, I'll enjoy life and 3). I won't be left lonely and bored.

For example, did you know that Med School has tons of perks?  We've been to 2-3 free dinners already, and David's school doesn't start for 4 more days.  At one dinner, we got a $25 giftcard to Barnes and Nobles and a $25 giftcard to Chili's.  At our last dinner, they took us to the OKC Zoo, and David won a sweatshirt (on top of already getting free dinner at the Zoo).  And next week, I'm joining a women's support group for med school wives which has tons of activities such as scrapbooking night, chocolate night (my favorite), craft night, movie night, etc. Even when life gets tough, I want to focus on the good things. 

Who says Med School can't be fun?
