But besides that, I joined a group called "Side By Side": an organization for medical students' wives, residents' wives, and doctors' wives. As part of this group, I've been attending Bible Study where we've been reading "Prescriptions for a Doctor's Wife" by Debbie Read. The book talks about one woman's experience going through medical school and residency with her husband and how she not only survived but thrived because she depended on the Savior. I've really enjoyed being a part of this Bible Study, and I recommend this book to anyone else in the same situation.

| David and I after Bible Study. We went on a date to Starbucks and I got pumpkin hot chocolate aka- Hot Chumpkin. AMAZING. |
Also, I'm a part of the Medical Student Alliance. This is another group for medical students' wives, and we get together every couple of weeks. Last night, we decorated pumpkins and had hot cider and potato soup. I've really enjoyed getting together with other girls who are going through the same thing as me.
