Date night with a baby

Lately, Miss Lil has been coming on our dates with us.  This week was pretty busy, so date night was a candlelit dinner at home complete with a table cloth, name plates, and black bean soup.  We even got dressed up.  Lily slept in her swing the entire time...until she got hungry (and then date night was over.)  But this date was a fun and romantic way to spend time together without having to leave home.

Miss Lil as of late.  Weighing in at 10 lbs. at her one month check-up.  She is growing like a weed and doesn't fit any of her newborn clothes anymore.  Love my little chubby cheeked girl :)

Our double date this week with Tami and Ding.  It's fun to live so close to Tami and get to hang out with her all the time.  We went to Norman because I'd always wanted to see what OU was like.  We drove by the stadium and the dorms, and I felt a little homesick for BYU.  For dinner, we went to a little hole-in-the-wall Italian restaurant that had amazing food.  Afterwards, we took a break so I could feed Lily.  But then we got gelato. Our date nights consist of more thought and planning with Miss Lil, but she is such an angel.  I just love her to pieces, and she enjoys going on dates with us.
